Dr. Danielle Owens, DPT

Dr. Danielle Owens received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2017 from the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia. Following graduation, she moved to San Diego and began specializing in Pelvic Floor/orthopedics in both the outpatient and home care setting. At her first job as a pelvic specialist, she realized the barriers for women to receive treatment for their pelvic dysfunctions such as lack of access to a provider, discomfort in discussing such personal/sensitive issues with their provider, and insurance barriers. A resolution she came up with was to create a website that provides virtual treatment options that are accessible to women everywhere. Dr. Owens is a CAPP-Pelvic certified specialist and was influential in developing a pelvic health program at a local physical therapy clinic.
Outside of the office, Dr. Owens enjoys all things outdoors including hiking, running half marathons, and taking her dogs to the beach.
